no!!!!!!! it is not safe! dont do that!!

if you really want to get rid of yeast infection then you must follow these tips:

1) Eat yogurt!!!! It contains helpful bacteria (live cultures, including acidophilus and bifidus) that destroy yeast. Use only plain yogurt with active cultures.

2) Douche with a solution of 1 to 3 tbsp. vinegar in a quart of water. Repeat once a day while having symptoms, but no longer than a week.

3) Decrease or eliminate sugar and sugary foods. Sugar promotes yeast growth.

4) Use a garlic clove as a suppository. Garlic contains a natural anti-fungal agent.

5) Try gentian violet. It’s a traditional remedy for yeast and other infections, and can be found in pharmacies. Swab the area with it once or twice a day. Make sure to use a thick pad – it stains everything.

6) Use an herbal douche. Combine equal amounts of sage, raspberry and comfrey with 1/4 part goldenseal. This can be combined with cider vinegar.

7) also you should use some herbal treatment. In that case Yeastrol is really good (probably the best) product that gets rid of yeast infection comparatively fast and makes you feel more confident knowing that it wont reappear again!
And of course it is better if you use full course (5 months – if I remember correctly). For me it worked very fast + I dont get yeast infections anymore (almost 2 years) …

Yesterday was suppose to be my last day for Monistat 3 but i accidentally forgot to take it last night so when i woke up this morning i quickly took the last treatment. Will it still get rid of my yeast infection or do i have to restart and buy another treatment?

Uhm I just got rid of mine literally two days ago and I only used it two days cause I forgot too lol I also hope you plan on doing anything today o.o you’re supposed to be laying down when using that, that’s why they want you to use it right before you go to bed

I also think it depends on how bad yours is. This time which is my second it wasn’t that bad so I don’t think the three day one was needed for me to get rid of it :p Well that and my period just came on so it was making it hard for the yeast to grow anyway

So in the future if you have one a day or two before your period comes on try and wait it out its like a natural way to get rid of it :p

"Dentist put me on anitbiotics last sat for a dental problem.
Yesterday, I started burning, itching, sore to sit down.
Going goofy. Any home remedies I can use right now would be
appreciated.
Thanks…..

alot of cranberry juice and anti itch cream

I went through the yahoo answers about yeast infections, I dont have super itchiness, I dont have smelly or dis colored discharge, just minor irritation, but I took a home yeast infection test and it said I had one…its like the little strip you pee on… anyway my question is, what is the name of an over the counter solution for a yeast infection?

Hi BK,

When I got my first yeast infection I tried over the counter remedies but no matter how many different creams and pills I tried it always came back :(

In the end I found this website on the internet which changed everything and made me feel myself again. If you want to take a look, it’s at http://www.QuickYeastInfectionCure.com

Hope it works for u too!

I was prescribed medication(cream) for what I thought to be a yeast infection, but I’m experiencing abdominal pain. I had trouble sleeping because of it. I’m going to try to make a doctor’s appointment today. Apparently this is something more serious, but what?
I just spoke with a nurse over the phone who swears it’s nothing to do with the medication, even though I haven’t experienced any pain until after I took the medicine. I’m not on my period. I don’t have cramps until after my period has started(which it hasn’t). I don’t know what to do.

Who diagnosed you with candidiasis? Is it vaginal or elsewhere? What was the antifungal prescribed???? Important info you omitted.

In any case, abdominal pain and difficulty sleeping are not associated with topical antifungals but you can have the med changed if you wish.

I’m not going to the doctor [no insurance] so I’m not 100 percent sure if I have a yeast infection or not. If I take the medication [just incase] will anything bad happen if I don’t have one?

I think I read somewhere that if you do that you’re making future yeast infections more resistant to the medication so they’ll be harder to get rid of.
I’m sure there are tests you can buy to see if you have any type of infection. They should be right next to the yeast infection creams at drug stores.

I don’t have insurance, and I really need something that works.

Natural Yogurt. It’s regarded as the best home remedy because it replaces the bad bacteria that caused yeast infection to a good bacteria. You can add a small amount of garlic in the affected area.

You can also use Apple Cider vinegar , take an unscented cotton ball soaked in apple cider vinegar and dab it on the affected areas.

Hope this helps :)

i currently have a yeast infection and am using an over the counter medication i began using it sunday night, and tested for pregnancy on monday. i dont mean to sound stupid asking this question but iv never had an infection before so know nothing about the product. my period is only 2 days late. i know i need to see a doctor but mine wont see me until july. so could the medication cause the test to come up negative?

No, the medication would not affect the test results. The pregnancy test only reacts to pregnancy hormones.

You might have tested a bit early, though. Try again in another week.

Nothing, don’t worry you are fine. Its not like birth control that if you miss one you have a problem.

Used 1 day treatment on Friday, itching was better. But it’s back again today. Is this normal?
Yeast infection diagnosed by doctor.

Yes…….in fact, sometimes my infection has gotten worse before it’s gotten better. Give it a bit of time. The packaging should have told you that it could take a few days. You’ll get better soon. If not, tell your doctor and you might need a second dose if it was a bad infection.
